The Science and Technology/Engineering program of the Worcester Public Schools provides students with in-depth exploration of the standards identified in the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. High quality professional development and support for classroom and afterschool activities are enhanced through partnerships with Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester State College, UMass Medical School, College of the Holy Cross, Quinsigamond College, The Eco Tarium, Massachusetts Audubon at Broad Meadow Brook, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Intel Corporation and EMC. With expanding opportunities for student participation in the Biomedical Pipeline Collaborative, Massachusetts Stem Cell Research Center, and the research laboratories in BioTech II, we have established many programs with community organizations that support standards based science and mathematics.
